James Nicholson Richardson (7 February – 11 October ) was an Irish Liberal politician who sat in the House of Commons from to Richardson was the son of John Grubb Richardson of Lisburn, County Antrim and Bessbrook, County Armagh, and his first wife Helena Grubb, daughter of Richard Grubb of Cahir Abbey, was educated at home until and then at Grove . Although this study is primarily a business history, the introduction brings out the philanthropic and physical background of Bessbrook. John G. Richardson its founder, was a promoter of temperance and his son, James N. Richardson III, was elected in , as Liberal MP for Co. Armagh.
